The polymerization of monomers dispersed in water by emulsifiers into an emulsion state is called emulsion polymerization. Conventional emulsion polymerization systems are mainly composed of monomers, water, water-soluble initiators, and water-soluble emulsifiers. The formula used in industry is much more complicated.
